MINDS Social Combinator Programme

November 12, 2019 |

Background:

The Social Combinator (SoCo) programme was created by Movement for the Intellectually Disabled in Singapore (MINDS) to incubate the growth of new social enterprises that would provide long term sustainable employment for the MINDS clients who are adults with intellectual disabilities.

Outcome:

EMPACT’s evaluation focused on assessing the cost effectiveness of the programme and its outcomes on the MINDS clients.

The evaluation report demonstrated that the programme had a positive outcome in the areas of Quality of Work Life and Social Return on Investment (SROI). It also provided recommendations on how to improve the programme and enhance its integration to the overall employment programme by MINDS.
